Where the journey begins
The saga begins with The Trials of Knights, when Tarimev Riswaell loses the quiet life that once tied him to Burtop and follows an abandoned dream into the King’s army. His partnership with Torvald Storheam begins a story that soon grows far beyond two recruits and the streets of Alerill.
Across The Rise of War and The Hidden Allies, the threat of the orcs spreads across Lotine. Kingdoms are forced to choose between old rivalries and survival, while warriors, sorcerers, pirates and unexpected allies are drawn into the conflict.
What comes next
The fourth novel, The Trials of Heroes, returns to the war nine years later. The surviving heroes are closer than ever to victory, but the final campaigns will test the lives, loyalties and futures they have fought to preserve.
This website will continue to grow alongside the series. Readers will be able to explore the books in order, meet major and supporting characters, examine the world map, discover important locations and follow development updates from William Traverse.
